EL-Signs have solutions that offer the added benefit of eye-catching and intriguing animations at a cost comparable to what others charge for simple backlit-only (non-animated) product.
Of course we can do a basic backlit sign, but our specialty is animated Electroluminescent and LED products.
Our Electroluminescent products have a patented process for maintaining consistency of color between the illuminated and non-illuminated image - we avoid wash-out!
Our aluminum frames are the best choice for advertising and photographic poster displays. The unique modern frame design bonded with state-of-the-art EL technology allow the bright backlit panel to present a true and crisp color image that features powerful eye catching effects.
There exist two basic types of lamps: incandescent and luminescent. With incandescent, an electrical current passes through a conductor (filament) creating a certain resistance and thus creates both light and heat. The more resistance and heat that is created the greater the intensity of light. With luminescent you have the contrary, and as the name implies, light is generated via radiant energy without creating temperature.
There are various types of luminescent lamps: electroluminescent, fotoluminescent, fluorescent and others. In the case of electroluminescent, light is produced as the result of a determined substance being exposed to an electrical current. The scientific discovery of electroluminescent (EL) technology and subsequently the development of lighted signs occurred in the first decade of the 20th century, however was only made commercially viable in the early 1990's. One of the most well known electroluminescent light products on the market today is the Light Emitting Diode (LED).
In the late 1990's, scientific studies were performed using powder made of encapsulated phosphorous particles. By locating this powder substance between two layers of electrodes and then applying a small electrical current the first luminous film was created. This discovery later led to the creation of a completely viable and commercially available luminous film. And the luminous film evolved to current technologies including electroluminescent lighted signs.
Today electroluminescent (EL) technology is being applied in many market sectors around the globe including lighted signs and will eventually substitute many of today’s existing products as well as facilitate the creation of many new products. Many market sectors are rapidly adopting EL technology as a principle resource in illumination, one of the biggest sectors being developed publicity. Electroluminescent lighted signs carried by EL-signs.com capture attention with eye-catching animations, brilliant colors, and intriguing custom designs at a fraction of the cost of Neon Signs. Prices compare to static backlit display signs. A full product line of Electroluminescence & LED Display technology lighted signs are available at affordable prices by contacting EL-signs.com at 949-648-7773.
